Lentigens
Lentigines are commonly called "Age Spots," "Sun Spots," or "Liver Spots." Unlike freckles, these don't fade in the winter. They are permanent, flat, dark patches caused by years of accumulated sun exposure. They typically appear on the hands, face, and chest of adults. They are stubborn clumps of pigment that signify "photo-aging" (aging caused by the sun).
The Gold Standard treatment for removing these is the Q-Switched Laser.
Benefits
• Total Removal: Unlike creams that only lighten, lasers can completely remove the spot.
• Youthful Hands & Face: Removing these spots is one of the most effective anti-aging moves, as clear skin looks significantly younger.
• Precision: The laser targets only the dark spot, leaving the surrounding normal skin perfectly safe and untouched.
