Lentigens

Lentigines are commonly called "Age Spots," "Sun Spots," or "Liver Spots." Unlike freckles, these don't fade in the winter. They are permanent, flat, dark patches caused by years of accumulated sun exposure. They typically appear on the hands, face, and chest of adults. They are stubborn clumps of pigment that signify "photo-aging" (aging caused by the sun).
